It's been about a 15 min walk from the night club to this gentle clearing, but Sawyer found it. He was getting excited. Alright, what I wanted to show you is a secret spot i came across while lazing around. Trick is we need to get there. I hope you're ready. Extending one arm out, hand open, palm skyward and fingers together, he made a gesture of slowly lifting his hand higher. Ashe did, his arm trembled as if lifting something heavy. Within moments, the ground around them began to rumble in a way that didn't necessarily pose danger, but the thought went through your mind. The higher he lifted his hand, more more the earth quaked........

Dawndrell didn't know what to make of this. She gave a little sort of yelp when the earth started shaking. What the heck!??! She tightened her grip on François, who gave a yowl of her own. What am I supposed to DO?!!? Don't just stand there! Do something! She didn't say anything, and instead took to clinging to Sawyer like a life preserver.
"I think something's happening..." she muttered into his ear. He didn't seem scared or shocked.

You have no idea. He smiled as the earth started to slowly fissure around them in a somewhat neat circular shape. Then the rumbling stopped, the trees fell away, and the sky came closer. They were now flying on a piece of land. With his other hand, palm down, he moved it to the side once, and the giant hole in the ground was filled. Now, let me take you there. Just sit back, relax, and don't worry about falling. I'll catch you. he promised as they started to move at a great speed over the park and city, heading for the cliffs and the beach.

Dawndrell trusted him. It was the GROUND she no longer had faith for. She continued to cling desperately, but loosened her hold enough to satisfy him.
François gave a loud MERRR-OOOOHW! and scratched at the wall of dirt halfheartedly with a single paw. She paced around the bubble of earth, looking for an escape. The confinement was unnerving.
Dawndrell looked up at the sky and the stars drifting past like clouds, hoping to get her mind off the fact she was flying in a ball of DIRT. I'm so stupid, she thought to herself. Of COURSE he has powers. This must be it...

The wind was cool, briskly blowing through his hair as he navigated is small piece of land through the sky. the moon was out, the stars were shining, and the sea looked wonderful. After what seemed to be an eternity flying, he landed there vessel on a cliff overlooking the swells. It was a very precariously perched place that normal people could only get to with climbing equipment. THIS he said proudlyIs one of my many secret spots Stepping down, he gave her a hand to help Dawndrell and François as well. Behind him was a sight beyond comparison. There were plants and flowers of untold name and beauty. Soft, foamy moss carpeted the floor. Luna butterflies danced in the air in the presence of their namesake. But that wasn't what they came to see. As Sawyer came to the edge, he lifted the earth as only he could, hurled it over the edge of the cliff and watched as it dissipated into sand. With that same hand, he motioned for his guest to come closer. Hurry, it's about to start.

Dawndrell was still taking in the sights when Sawyer called for her to follow her. Looking around, she tried to soak in as much of it as she could. The sight was gorgeous, but evidently, there was something better about to happen. She hurried towards him, turning back to collect her butterfly-chasing kitty, then hurry again. I wonder what other kinds of secret spots he has... Dawndrell couldn't stop herself from craving to know more about his boy. She hoped they would have the chance to spend more time together again, maybe even at this beautiful spot. She smiled to herself, wondering what was supposed to happen.

Sitting on the edge of the cliff,he pointed at the moon. It was big, full, and very bright. But clouds were now approaching. After a bit, the lunar body was completely cover, but the light was not gone, just replaced in a different area. It wasn't the same ambient light as the moon, and it was more colorful. It was coming from under the cliff. It indeed was the reef underneath them, glowing from all the sun and moonlight, different colors, filtering in different ways through the water. A kaleidoscope of light came shooting out of the rippling glass that was the ocean, staining the rocks, the cliff side, the clouds, the sky. Soon, the moon came out to join them. Please come sit by me he motioned. A light show of such radiant softness reined behind him, casting him in a weird light, illuminating his eyes again

Dawndrell followed, eyes glued to the lights. She tried to pull away long enough to make her way over to Sawyer, and found it hard. She finally sat down next to her new-found friend on the soft earth to share the sight. Setting François on the ground beside her, she gazed in awe over the cliff, longing to lean closer and closer to the colors, but not doing so... for more or less obvious reasons...
"Wow," Dawndrell breathed. She turned to Sawyer, but quickly averted her gaze. His face was lit up with just the right tints of color, and his eyes had a soft, warm glow from the light. Her face, too, lit up just a bit, then, but not from the light. She watched the moon, instead, replaying the night in her mind. A small wave of exhaust crash over her body, almost masking her euphoria. She leaned back and propped herself up on her elbows and gave a content sigh.

After about an hour or so, Sawyer turns to his companion. Well, I think we can call it a night. We should definitely do this again sometime. Standing up, he shook out his tiered body and did some small stretches. Then with a gesture as if to tear something off with his hand, a boulder was ripped out of the cliff side. With his other hand, e flatted the boulder's surface so they could stand on it. As it floated next to him, he looks back to Dawndrell, his hand looking as if he was holding something precious. Can I take you home?

She nodded eagerly. As fun as staying up all night was, Dawndrell had to admit a warm, cozy bed sounded nice. She nodded and took Sawyer's hand as she stepped onto the boulder, François following close behind. She tried to get used to floating in the air on a rock. High up in the sky... on a rock... easily capable of falling to a painful death... on a rock...
"That was really nice," she said to him. "You sure do know how to make the best of your days." She looked at the stars. "Nights," she corrected herself.
